The veteran CB has had trouble staying healthy this season, and took two more bigs hits on Sunday night.
The Eagles defense was certainly being challenged Sunday night against the Rams, and veteran CB Darius Slay left the game after a helmet-to-helmet hit in the third quarter. He was pretty quickly ruled out due to a concussion.

This was the second injury of the night for Slay, who also left the game during the first drive after colliding with teammate Reed Blankenship. Slay was ultimately able to return on the next drive, until being sidelined again later on.
The CB has been injured several times throughout the season, and Isaiah Rodgers has done a really nice job every time he’s stepped into the Slay’s role. Rodgers took the field for him again on Sunday, and immediately impacted things, forcing a fumble that was scooped up by Nakobe Dean. Rodgers came back when Slay left in the second half.
