Tonight’s week 11 edition of Sunday Night Football has the Cincinnati Bengals traveling west to take on the Los Angeles Chargers. As is tradition for the Bengals, they began the season slow, leading to their current 4 and 6 record. Despite playing much better as of late, the Bengals are coming off a tough one-point loss last week to the Baltimore Ravens, 35 to 34. The Chargers have a slightly better record at 6 and 3, giving them second place in their division coming into week 11. LA is coming off a three-game win streak, including their win last weekend over the Tennessee Titans, 27 to 17.

—My Pick: The Chargers will cover. The line is close, but the Chargers also have the best defense in the league in the statistic that matters the most: points surrendered. Despite playing better, the Bengals find ways to lose games even when they should have won them. In addition, the Bengals will be the team traveling cross country. The Chargers defense will do their thing this evening, holding the dangerous Bengals in check, winning the game outright, and covering the line.
