The Dolphins are facing injuries across their offensive line. Will Terron Armstead be available on Sunday or will there be another change against the Raiders?
The Miami Dolphins have had to shake up their offensive line as injuries have begun to mount. Right tackle Austin Jackson is on injured reserve, pushing Kendall Lamm into the starting lineup. Left tackle Terron Armstead, who has battled with injuries every season of his career, is dealing with a knee injury as the Dolphins prepare to face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, an injury that had Armstead questionable on the final injury report for the week.
It appears Miami will have their Pro Bowl tackle on the field, however. As the teams have released their respective inactive players list for the game, Armstead’s name was not included on the Dolphins’ listing. Armstead has been a solidifying presence on Miami’s offensive line throughout his three seasons with the team; having him in the lineup is a huge bonus for the Dolphins as they try to turn last week’s win over the Rams into a winning streak against the Raiders.
It was not all good news for Miami on the inactive list, however, as Pro Bowl fullback Alec Ingold remains off the field with a calf injury. Like Armstead, Ingold had been questionable on the injury report, but he will now miss his second-straight game.
Also inactive are running back Jeff Wilson, Jr., cornerback Ethan Bonner, cornerback Kendall Fuller, linebacker Mohamed Kamara, offensive lineman Andrew Meyer, and wide receiver Dee Eskridge. Fuller had been ruled out of the game as he deals with a concussion.
The Raiders’ side of the inactive list included running back Dylan Laube, safety Trey Taylor, cornerback Nate Hobbs, guard Cody Whitehair, center Andre James, tight end Harrison Bryant, and defensive tackle Zach Carter.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Eastern from Miami Gardens’ Hard Rock Stadium.
