The NFL sack leader’s neck injury seems to be manageable.
The Cincinnati Bengals are likely to be without left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football, according to Ian Rapoport.
#Bengals OT Orlando Brown Jr., who is dealing with knee and fibula injuries, is not expected to play today, sources say. He’s listed as questionable.

If he can’t go, that’ll be three straight games. Brown Jr. also played limited snaps in Weeks 7 and 8.
The Bengals have announced that Sheldon Rankins is now questionable to play due to an illness that apparently popped up this weekend. Rankins missed several games earlier this season due to injury and has struggled to make an impact even when healthy.

On a positive note, Rapoport reports that Trey Hendrickson is expected to play. The defensive end will look to add to his league-leading 11 sacks.
#Bengals pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson, listed as questionable with a neck injury and a personal matter, is slated to meet the team in LA and play against the #Chargers, according to coach Zac Taylor.

Hendrickson is dealing with both a neck injury and a personal matter, but his head coach noted that the plan is for him to meet the team in Los Angeles today and play against the Chargers.
The Bengals will certainly need Hendrickson if they want to have a chance against a Chargers team that is heating up behind the exceptional play of quarterback Justin Herbert.
