In Week 11, Kansas City plays Buffalo on Sunday afternoon.

Some notes

  • As reported earlier, the Chiefs saw three returns to the practice field on Wednesday: wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring), running back Isiah Pacheco (fibula) and defensive lineman Charles Omenihu (ACL). All three logged limited practice designations to begin the week.
  • Should everything go well this week, Smith-Schuster will return to play the Bills on Sunday. It is unlikely the Chiefs will have Pacheco or Omenihu.
  • The Chiefs listed eight other players on their report, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle) and left tackle Wanya Morris (knee). Mahomes, Morris and the six others were full participants.
  • It’s worth noting that defensive end Mike Danna (pec strain) — who returned last week —remained on the injury report as a full participant.
  • Three Bills players missed practice on Wednesday: tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee), wide receiver Keon Coleman (wrist) and right tackle Spencer Brown (ankle). Coleman was inactive last game, and the Bills have already said he won’t play against the Chiefs. Kincaid and Brown left early. Brown told reporters he will “hopefully” be able to play on Sunday.
  • The Bills had two limited participants: wide receiver Amari Cooper (wrist), who has missed Buffalo’s last two games, and cornerback Kaiir Elam (shoulder), who played just five defensive snaps in their last matchup.
  • Linebacker Matt Milano (biceps) is on the Reserve/Injured list and worked as a limited participant. Like Coleman, Milano will miss Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.
  • The Bills listed 11 full participants, including quarterback Josh Allen (left hand).
