Our Miami Dolphins are coming off a loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Phins performed much better in the loss than many believed that they would. The Offense seemed to come alive and look more like what the fan base has become accustomed to, while the defense let the team down in the end. Miami’s task is not much easier this week as they will travel cross country to take on the resurging Los Angeles Rams. Sitting at 2 and 6, the Dolphins cannot afford another loss after dropping the last three if they wish to hold onto any hopes of sneaking into the playoffs.
The LA Rams began the 2024 season suffering injuries to multiple key players. This inevitably led to a poor start to the season, seeing the Rams go 1 and 4 in their first five games. The Rams have since ripped off three straight wins. In the last three games, the Rams have defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 20 to 15, the then one loss Minnesota Vikings 30 to 20, and the Seattle Seahawks 26 to 20. The Rams have a 4 and 4 record, good enough for second place in the NFC West.

-My Pick: The Rams to cover. The return of Tua Tagovailoa seems to have revived the Dolphins’ offense, but the defense has seemingly regressed and struggled over the last two weeks to hold on in winnable games for the Phins. The Rams, on the other hand, have had a resurgence across the board as their team gets healthy. I think Miami keeps this close but loses by around a field goal margin this evening as they continue to have issues in primetime games.
