The Rams offensive line is getting healthier heading into Monday Night vs. the Dolphins
The Los Angeles Rams offensive line is slowly getting healthier heading into Week 10. While the Rams will be without starting right tackle Rob Havenstein on Monday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins, they are expected to have Steve Avila and Jonah Jackson available. Both Avila and Jackson are expected to be taken off of injured reserve on Monday after entering the 21-day practice window earlier this week.

Also available will be offensive lineman Joe Noteboom who has also been on injured reserve since Week 2. Said Rams head coach Sean McVay,
“Injury-wise, the only guys out for the game will be Rob Havenstein and Neville Gallimore. Guys that’ll be listed as questionable, Christian Rozeboom should be good. Kevin Dotson and Kam Curl, but both those guys were feeling good today.”
McVay added, “I do, yeah,” when asked if he expected Avila and Jackson to play. He also said, “That’s where it’s trending in the right direction, so that’ll be good,” in regards to whether Avila would be activated from injured reserve.
The Rams offensive line has been hurt going back to training camp. Jonah Jackson missed much of training camp with his scapula injury that he re-injured in the Week 1 loss to the Detroit Lions. Having Noteboom available will also be a benefit with Havenstein out. With that said, McVay didn’t tip his hand on who would be starting where. McVay said,
“Honestly, we’re working through it. There are a lot of different moving parts, especially as it relates to the offensive line but it is good to be able to have those guys back in the mix.”
The only certainties will be Alaric Jackson at left tackle and Kevin Dotson and right guard if he plays. Whether or not Jackson or Avila play center or right guard is to be determined and the Rams will also need to decide whether it will be Noteboom or Warren McClendon at right tackle. The Rams likely know who will be playing where, but for competitive purposes, nobody else will know until the first offensive snap.
Also on the injury report, Ethan Evans should be back at punter after missing last week with an illness. Additionally, rookie wide receiver Jordan Whittington was back practicing in a full capacity after missing much of the last two games. How the Rams rotate their wide receivers will also be something to keep an eye on.
On the Dolphins side, Tyreek Hill did not practice on Saturday, putting his status for Monday Night in doubt. Hill has been dealing with a wrist injury this week and would be a huge blow to the Dolphins offense if he is unable to go. With that said, head coach Mike McDaniel noted that Hill will play, “if his body lets him.”

The Dolphins will also be without Austin Jackson while Jevon Holland, Alec Ingold, Patrick McMorris, and River Cracraft are listed as questionable.
