Rams Reacts Results: Are the Rams the best team in the NFC West?

After a three-game win streak, Los Angeles finds themselves in striking distance of the NFC West lead

The Los Angeles Rams are riding a three-game win streak that has put them in playoff contention and has fans believing in the team more than they have all season long. According to our survey, fans overwhelmingly believe that LA is headed in the right direction with 95% in favor of what the team is doing right now.

It is the highest score of the season, a stark contrast from just a few weeks ago when confidence in the team’s direction was as low as 30%. At the time of this article, The Rams come into Sunday’s game as slight favorites at -1.5 according to FanDuel.

The Rams were able to notch their second divisional win of the year against the Seattle Seahawks this past week. The victory has fans feeling more and more like the Rams have become real contenders to steal the division.

At 4-4, Los Angeles now hold second place within the NFC West, finding themselves just one game behind the leading Arizona Cardinals. LA will see those same Cardinals for their second matchup of the year Week 17 and it’s starting to look like that meeting could have some major implications on who will win the division.

According to our survey, 76% of fans believe that the Rams will win the NFC West before the season is done. LA will need to continue their winning ways, as a division title seems like it may be the easiest path to a playoff berth.

With such a strong NFC North this season, there is a realistic chance that three teams from that division alone could make it into the post season. A wild card spot very well could require 10+ wins in the NFC to beat out teams like the Minnesota Vikings or Green Bay Packers, who are both behind the North leading Detroit Lions.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders are only separated by one game in the East, and the Bucs are keeping it tight with the South leading Falcons. It’s not to say the Rams couldn’t get a wild card position but they have already proven they can beat two of three other teams in the West. Their past track record under Sean McVay says their Week 2 loss to the Arizona Cardinals may also be an anomaly as well.

The Rams will welcome the Miami Dolphins to Sofi stadium for a nationally televised Monday Night Football game this week. It will also be the return of former Rams Super Bowl champion Jalen Ramsey, who was traded to the Dolphins last offseason in a salary dump move. Los Angeles will hope to pick up another win while keeping an eye on the Cardinals-Jets results.
