Does Boise State tailback tempt you?
Of course, the vast majority of the 2025 draft talk for the Las Vegas Raiders revolves around the quarterback position and for good reason.
It is clear the Raiders’ most-pressing need in the draft next year will be at the most important position on the field. The Raiders have a glaring hole at quarterback for now and in the future and they will spend their third straight offseason looking to fill the void.
There is little doubt the Raiders will seriously consider taking a quarterback early in the draft next spring.
But the reality is, it isn’t Las Vegas’ only big need. The Raiders have holes throughout the roster.
One of those areas of need is at tailback. The Raiders have struggled on the ground all season as they move away from the Josh Jacobs era.
Third-year player Zamir White has been a disappointment and Alexander Mattison, who replaced White as the starter, is a free agent in 2024. So, running back may be a position the Raiders look at add.
It is expected that Boise state star Ashton Jeanty will be the top running back taken. The Heisman Trophy candidate is considered a special talent and he could go off the board very early.
Do you think the Raiders’ should consider taking Jeanty early or would it be to much of a luxury for a team with bigger needs.
