Will Lamar Jackson lead Ravens to win on Thursday Night Football over Bengals?
It’s not very often that the Thursday Night Football matchup is one worthy of the primetime designation. However, that is not the case in Week 10 as the Cinicinnati Bengals take on the Baltimore Ravens on the road. AFC North games are always must watch and that will be no different with Joe Burrow battling it out with Lamar Jackson. These two teams played earlier in the season that was won 41-38 in overtime by the Ravens and Thursday night’s game should be just as close.
The Bengals enter the game at 4-5, but have won three of their last four games. This is a team that is still trying to find its stride through the first half of the season. Joe Burrow has played well, but Tee Higgins has been hurt and the defense has taken a step back. Zac Taylor has also made some questionable coaching decisions. This is a team that desperately needs a big win.
Meanwhile, the Ravens have been one of the better teams in the NFL this season. They have two weird losses against the Las Vegas Raiders and Cleveland Browns, but have otherwise looked dominant at times. Lamar Jackson looks like a MVP candidate once again while Derrick Henry has thrived since arriving in Baltimore. Right now, they look like the only team that could dethrone the Chiefs.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Ravens are 5.5-point favorites in this game. That feels like a pretty big spread for a division game on a Thursday night. While the Ravens are at home, two of the last three in the series have been decided by three points or less. With that said, the Bengals will be without Tee Higgins and have a bottom-5 run defense. That plays directly into the hands of the Ravens. At home on Thursday Night, the Ravens should take care of business and win by a touchdown.
The Pick: Ravens (-5.5)
Season Record: 12-17
