First look at the health of both teams ahead of Sunday’s game
The Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars have released their initial injury reports ahead of their Sunday matchup. Here they are:
DNP = Did not practice; LP = Limited participant; FP= full participant
Minnesota Vikings
- LB Ivan Pace Jr., Knee, DNP
- C Garrett Bradbury, Rest, DNP
- OLB Andrew Van Ginkel, Rest, DNP
- LB Blake Cashman, Toe, LP
- CB Akayleb Evans, Hip, LP
- OLB Gabriel Murphy Jr., Knee, LP
- S Theo Jackson, Hand, FP
- TE Josh Oliver, Wrist, FP
The big one here for the Vikings is Ivan Pace Jr. not practicing today. Blake Cashman being limited is an upgrade from last week, so perhaps he’ll be ready to go by Sunday.
Also, rookie Garbriel Murphy Jr. had his return from IR window opened, so he shows up on the injury list as a result. Unclear when he’ll come off IR, but something to keep an eye on.
Jacksonville Jaguars
- RB Tank Bigsby, Ankle, LP
- G Ezra Cleveland, Ankle, DNP
- WR Gabe Davis, Shoulder, LP
- RB Travis Etienne, Hamstring, LP
- QB Trevor Lawrence, Left Shoulder, LP
- G Brandon Scherff, Knee, DNP
- DT Maason Smith, Ankle, LP
- WR Brian Thomas Jr., Chest, LP
- S Daniel Thomas, Hamstring, LP
- WR Devin Duvernay, Hamstring, FP
- RB Keilan Robinson, Toe, FP
- DB Andrew Wingard, Knee, LP
The Jaguars have a substantial injury list, with both starting guards not practicing on Wednesday. Starting QB Trevor Lawrence being limited with a left shoulder is at least a mild concern as well.
Former Viking Ezra Cleveland is considered day-to-day, as he was last week when he didn’t play against the Eagles. Brandon Scherff has been dealing with a knee and ankle injury but played last week against the Eagles.
