Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 11/5/24
A Random Ramsdom published last week was about Dan Orlovsky expressing his thoughts that the Los Angeles Rams can win the NFC West, and now after LA’s latest win he is claiming they can win the Super Bowl. I am not even sure LA will beat the Miami Dolphins next week let alone the Detroit Lions in a playoff game, so whereas I appreciate the take I am not so sure I am on board with this one.
To hold myself accountable, I’ll admit I had LA getting to the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs before the year began, but between the injuries I have seen LA take, and some of the bizarre mental lapses, I cannot say this team is getting to a Super Bowl until I see a bit more consistency.
LA has won three in a row and that’s great, but there’s a lot of football left. Do you have thoughts on the Rams Super Bowl chances this season? Have they shown enough to you yet?

REPORT: Numbers From Rams’ Win Signify Playoff Team (si.com)
“The Rams’ comeback win over a Seahawks team every bit as desperate for a win as the Rams are. Entering Sunday’s game, the Seahawks had lost four of their last five games.
Los Angeles’ thrilling win over the Seahawks shot them up the NFC West rankings, where they are now second in division, only behind the Arizona Cardinals.
Bradley Locker of Pro Football Focus analyzed some of the most critical numbers from the Rams’ win over the Seahawks. He noted that both teams did multiple things well on Sunday, with the Raiders coming out on top.”

Rams trade deadline tracker: Rumors, latest news and analysis (ramswire)
“Though they’re unlikely to make a blockbuster trade before Tuesday’s deadline, it’s possible they could either acquire a contributor or trade someone away to recoup draft assets. We’ll be tracking all the latest news surrounding the Rams, including rumors, reports and breaking down which players could be dealt.
Rams unlikely to trade Cooper Kupp
According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Rams are not expected to trade Kupp. He doubts a deal happens, in part because of the asking price. Per Breer, the Rams have told teams it’ll cost more to acquire Kupp than what the Jets paid for Davante Adams – which was a conditional third-round pick that could become a second-rounder.”

The Rams would not be buyers, nor would they be sellers. According to the Los Angeles Times’ Gary Klein; “McVay indicated that Rams would not be active at [the] trade deadline other than continuing to try and find [a] destination for CB Tre’Davious White.”

Random Ramsdom Fandom: College (By JeffinBranson on Nov 2, 2024)
“I watched the Ohio State – Penn State game today and there are several players I’d love to see on the Rams. First of all, they both have big QBs with speed and big arms…Drew Allar is 6’5” 235 and Will Howard is 6’4” 235 and they can both make any throw. I want a Josh Allen type for the Rams, and they both are, at least physically.Penn State has a DE/OLB named Abdul Carter that is just like Jared Verse, and if the Rams need another pass rusher, that’s your man. And Treveyon Henderson is a fast RB that can catch and block. TE Tyler Warren from Penn State would also be a very welcome addition to the Rams…I’d like a Travis Kelcie type on my team.Anyway, I hope some of you guys watch college football…I’ve seen a lot of good players this year, and that’s just a few of them.”
