The Rams got nothing from the Ravens, but did manage to get rid of Tre’Davious White
The Los Angeles Rams traded cornerback Tre’Davious White to the Ravens on Tuesday, ending weeks of speculation and reports that the team could not wait to part ways with the veteran former All-Pro. The compensation was as inconsequential as you probably expected, as the Rams gave up a 2027 7th round pick and got back a 2026 7th round pick. It could be the least valuable trade in NFL history in terms of compensation, but L.A. hopes to add by subtracting.

White, an All-Pro in 2019 and 2020 with the Buffalo Bills, signed a one-year free agent contract with the Rams in hopes of rebuilding his career after missing most of the previous two seasons due to injuries. However, White only appeared in four games with the Rams, despite being healthy, and he was picked apart by allowing four touchdowns and a 138.4 passer rating in the small sample size.
Meanwhile, undrafted free agent rookie Jaylen McCollough has four interceptions and he has barely played at all.
