Giants-Panthers 2024, Week 10: Everything you need to know
Can the Giants keep their perfect international record intact?

The New York Giants travel to Munich, Germany this week to face the Carolina Panthers in s Week 10 matchup. It is a meeting of two of the seven NFL teams tied for the league’s worst record at 2-7, and will determine more about the 2025 NFL Draft order than anything else.
The game will be played at 9:30 a.m. ET on Sunday at Allianz Arena, and will be broadcast by NFL Network.
The Giants have lost four straight games, while the Panthers are coming off a 23-22 victory over the New Orleans Saints that led to the firing of Saints head coach Dennis Allen. Despite that, FanDuel Sportsbook lists the Giants as 4.5-point favorites.
The Giants and Panthers are two of nine NFL teams that have just two wins. That is the highest number of two-win teams at this point in a season since 2006
It is possible that this could be the final start of quarterback Daniel Jones’ Giants career, particularly if the Giants lose and fall to 2-8. The Giants have a bye week after the trip to Germany. They are thought likely to be moving on from Jones at the end of the season. To avoid the potential of being stuck with owing Jones $23 million because of injury guarantee in his contract, there is a belief the Giants will bench Jones at some point when it becomes clear the season is lost.
At 2-7 they are dangerously close to that precipice, if not already there.
The Panthers have a quarterback issue of their own. Bryce Young, the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, was benched and replaced by Andy Dalton earlier this season. An injury to Dalton has seen Young back in the lineup the past two games.
The Panthers were active in the trade market prior to Tuesday’s trade deadline. They dealt two wide receivers, sending Diontae Johnson to the Baltimore Ravens and Jonathan Mingo to the Dallas Cowboys.
The Giants fielded calls about edge defender Azeez Ojulari and wide receiver Darius Slayton, but did not make and trades.
Carolina has not been good on either offense or defense:
Points For: 147 (16.3/g) 29th of 32
Points Against: 293 (32.6/g) 32nd of 32
The Giants are the worst offense in the NFL, but have been better defensively:
Points For: 139 (15.4/g) 32nd of 32
Points Against: 202 (22.4/g) 15th of 32
The Giants are 3-0 in international games. This marks their first game in Germany after playing three times in London.
