Some last minute decisions is the best case scenario.
As Thursday draws near, the Cincinnati Bengals injury report ahead of Thursday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens looks about the same as Monday’s.
Wide receiver Tee Higgins (quadricep) was again out of practice. Wednesday is a travel day, so this is likely the last update on Higgins until the inactive list is released Thursday. Higgins playing certainly feels like a long shot.
Offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. (knee/fibula) was also a nonparticipant for the second straight day. Head Coach Zac Taylor said earlier in the week that both Brown and Higgins would work with trainers to see if they could play Thursday. No work in practice isn’t a great sign.
Defensive tackle B.J. Hill (rib) missed Monday and was held out on Tuesday as well, and seems to be in risk of missing Thursday’s game.
Receiver and return man Charlie Jones (groin) was also out of practice again. Newly acquired Khalil Herbert does have some return experience, so he could get a look if the team is comfortable enough.
Zack Moss (neck) is out indefinitely, per Taylor, and has been placed on IR.
For Baltimore, Lamar Jackson did not practice Tuesday, but Head Coach John Harbaugh told reporters that he would play Thursday night.
Tight end Isiah Likely (hamstring) was out of practice Monday and was again sidelined Tuesday. He could be facing an uphill battle to play on the short week.
Defensive end Brent Urban (concussion) also missed his second straight practice.
All others on the Ravens’ injury report practiced fully or were limited.
