We’re scoreless after one
We’ve made it through the first fifteen minutes of Sunday Night Football with the Minnesota Vikings and the Indianapolis Colts in a scoreless tie.
The Colts took the football first after the Vikings won the coin toss and chose to defer to the second half, putting Brian Flores’ defense on the field first. The Colts quickly moved into Minnesota territory, but then the Vikings’ defense came up big as Jonathan Taylor fumbled a handoff from Joe Flacco and Harrison Smith jumped on it for a turnover!
Jumping on it early.

Unfortunately, the Vikings were more than happy to return the favor on their first possession, as Sam Darnold was looking for the returning T.J. Hockenson in the end zone and instead found Zaire Franklin. . .who plays for Indianapolis. . .for an interception and a touchback.
The Vikings’ defense then forced a three-and-out and again quickly pushed into Colts’ territory. But a big loss on a screen to Aaron Jones put an end to the drive and the Vikings punted it away. As we move to the second quarter of play the Colts have a 2nd-and-6 from their own 24-yard line.
We’re finished with the first quarter of play at U.S. Bank Stadium with the Minnesota Vikings and Indianapolis Colts in a scoreless tie. Come on in and join us for the second quarter of play!
