Colts Reacts Survey Results: Colts head Northbound for SNF

The Horseshoe faithful have spoken during a rocky week for the future of the franchise!

The Indianapolis Colts (4-4) travel to the Minnesota Vikings (5-2) after narrowly falling to the Houston Texans on the road last weekend.

Of course, the big news for the Colts is that the franchise benched struggling 2nd-year starter Anthony Richardson—after preaching continued patience with their young starter.

Somewhat surprisingly, 53% of Colts fans here believe that was ultimately the right decision:

The Colts publicly stated that it was because veteran Joe Flacco provides them a better chance to win right now, but one can’t help but wonder if Richardson’s infamous ‘tap out’ during last weekend’s loss played a large role in their sudden shift in decision-making.

Richardson’s surprising demotion caused a drastic shift in Colts fans’ confidence in the franchise, along with the Texans loss—as the percentage dipped from 58% to 31%:

Surprisingly, with Flacco behind center, 40% of Colts fans believe that Indianapolis can be ‘road warriors’ and upset the Vikings on primetime for Sunday Night Football.

The Colts will likely try to rebound from the last time they were in Minnesota during 2022, in which the team blew a historical 33-0 halftime lead—en route to losing 39-36 in overtime:

It’s definitely a tumultuous time period in the franchise’s history, as it’s uncertain whether the Colts are confident that Richardson is still the long-term answer for the franchise.
