The Rams won’t see DK Metcalf on Sunday
While the Rams deal with their own receiver knee injury, they won’t have to face Seattle’s top receiver this weekend as the Seahawks ruled out both DK Metcalf and tight end Noah Fant. Metcalf sprained his MCL against the Falcons two weeks ago and has not practiced since then. Fant injured his foot in practice this week and the situation quickly deteriorated to being ruled out.
Metcalf leads the Seahawks, and was second in the NFL prior to being injured, with 568 yards. He’s been Seattle’s only real deep threat this season for Geno Smith, so the offense will probably have to focus more on the quick, short, intermediate game with the likes of Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Tyler Lockett.

Sean McVay said that Puka Nacua’s knee doesn’t have any structural damage but that he will be listed as questionable. Nacua was out for six weeks and then only had two limited practices prior to getting a full workload against the Vikings last Thursday. Was he rushed back?
Sean McVay on Puka Nacua’s knee: “Fortunately there’s nothing structurally [wrong]. He’ll be listed as questionable, but I wouldn’t bet against this guy. My expectation is he’s going to do everything in his power to be ready to roll, and that’s the mindset that we have.”
