This week, Kansas City hosts Tampa Bay on “Monday Night Football.”
Each practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report leading up to the next game. This week, Kansas City is facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for “Monday Night Football” at 7:15 p.m. Arrowhead Standard Time.

Some notes
- As to be expected, the Chiefs were missing three players to start the week: offensive lineman Ethan Driskell, cornerback Nazeeh Johnson (concussion) and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring). We have more information on their statues here.
- Defensive end Mike Danna (pectoral), who returned to practice after missing the last two games, was limited. Running back Kareem Hunt (quad) was also limited.
- Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle) appeared on the report but was a full participant, as were cornerback Trent McDuffie (knee), defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi (triceps) and linebacker Drue Tranquill (chest).
- Nnadi has remained on the injury report since the start of the season. Hunt was listed last week due to a hip injury. This week, it is his quad.
- For the Buccaneers, wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) did not practice, and it is not expected that he will be available for this game. Running back Bucky Irving (toe) and wide receiver Sterling Shepard (hamstring) also did not practice. Bucs head coach Todd Bowles said that Irving will be working through his toe injury all season. At this stage, I would anticipate both to play.
- Linebacker Lavonte David (ankle/chest) also did not practice — and his status is one to monitor.
