Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season saw the return of Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagvoailoa, and with him came an effective offensive system. It was not enough, however, as the Dolphins lost to the Arizona Cardinals on a last-second field goal. Miami, believed to be a Super Bowl contender before the season started, are now 2-5 on the year and just trying to find some sense of optimism.
Heading into Week 9, the Dolphins face the Buffalo Bills in the second half of the annual home-and-home series between the AFC East division rivals. Although Miami still leads the all-time series 62-59-1, the Bills with quarterback Josh Allen have owned the Dolphins as of late. Buffalo has won the last five meetings, including a playoff game after the 2022 season and in Week 2 this year. That game was never close, with the Bills winning 31-10 on Thursday Night Football. Can Miami right their season and end the Bills’ streak this weekend?
