Checking in with Detroit Lions fans for our latest SB Nation Reacts survey: What is the most likely outcome of the Lions at Packers?
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Detroit Lions fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
Each week, in our SB Nation Reacts Survey, we will provide readers with a question or two specifically geared toward Detroit Lions fans, with an article exploring the results released later in the week. In this installment, we have two questions: the first being a recurring weekly question, and the next being designed for Week 9:
1. Are you confident the Lions are headed in the right direction? (weekly poll)
2. What is the most likely outcome of the Lions at Packers?
Lions fans’ confidence in the direction of the organization has been very high for the majority of the season. There was a slight dip following the Lions Week 2 loss to the Bucs, but since then, they’ve been rolling.
After they beat the Seahawks, confidence peaked at 99% of fans, stayed high after the destruction in Dallas (98% fan confidence), then remained at 98% following a huge win over the Minnesota Vikings. Now, after dropping 52 points on the Titans, it’s time to check in and vote again.
Right now, the trade deadline is at the forefront of most people’s minds, but the Lions have a very important divisional road game on the horizon, and that is the focus of the second question this week: What is the most likely outcome of the Lions at Packers?
For this question, we’ve given Lions fans three options to choose from:
- Lions win and cover the spread (current betting line is Lions -3.5 points)
- Lions win but don’t cover
- Packers beat the Lions
There will be a bunch more articles breaking down the Packers throughout the week, but now, it’s time to vote in the polls below and keep an eye out later in the week for the results.
