Two big names were on the sidelines.

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but the Cincinnati Bengals are in a must-win situation on Sunday when they take on the Las Vegas Raiders.

The team was back on the field to begin their week of preparation, and two big names were on the sidelines at practice.

Orlando Brown Jr. (knee) tried to give it a go last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, but he experienced what Head Coach Zac Taylor called “discomfort,” leading to Cody Ford entering the game. Brown was reportedly on the field watching the offensive line work but was not in uniform and did not participate.

Wide receiver Tee Higgins (quad) was also out after missing last week’s game. Higgins appeared late on the injury report last week, and after testing himself out pregame Sunday, he was unable to play. With a short week following the Raiders game, the Bengals could be shifting their focus to having him ready for the Baltimore Ravens.

Aside from those two, the Bengals look to be healthy to start the week.

For the Raiders, their starting center Andre James (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, which means rookie guard Jackson Powers-Johnson could start at center on Sunday.

Starting right guard Dylan Parham returned to practice after missing two weeks with a foot injury.

They got positive news on tight end Brock Bowers after his x-rays were negative. His fellow tight end, Michael Mayer, will miss this game after being placed on the non-football injury list for personal reasons.
