The Rams are looking to part ways with Tre’Davious White and exploring all their options of how to do that soon according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. White’s first season with the Rams has been disappointing to say the least, now it could only be a question of whether or not any team is willing to trade for a cornerback who isn’t good enough to play on L.A.’s defense.
A defense that still has a need at cornerback.
Sources: Rams open to trading away CB Tre’Davious White (espn.com)
“LOS ANGELES — The Rams and cornerback Tre’Davious White are discussing options for his future, including a potential trade, sources told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler on Saturday.
The former All-Pro has been inactive for the Rams’ past two games, a move made after Darious Williams returned from a hamstring injury.
The Rams are open to keeping White, knowing things can change over a long season, or they could look to move him to a team with a cornerback need, sources told Fowler.
Rams coach Sean McVay said earlier in the month that White has handled the situation as “a pro in every sense of the word.”

Arizona Cardinals walk off Miami Dolphins 28-27 on Chad Ryland’s FG, move to 4-4 on season (azcentral)
“On third and 4 at the Dolphins’ 27 and the clock winding down, the Cardinals faced a pivotal play call. Should they run it again with Conner? Would they dare try a pass when they already were within field goal range for Ryland?
Instead, Murray took off on a scramble. The Dolphins appeared to have him contained, but he darted straight, avoiding a tackle, and his 7-yard gain allowed Arizona to run a few rushing attempts to set up Ryland’s game winner.
The win improved the Cardinals to 4-4 and kept them squarely in the hunt in the NFC West ahead of their game next Sunday when they host the Chicago Bears. The Dolphins dropped to 2-5 and play at the Bills on Sunday.”

NFL Week 8 grades: Browns earn high mark for shocking win over Ravens, Jets get ‘D’ for loss to Patriots (cbssports.com)
“Through the first seven weeks of the season, the Browns were the only team in the NFL that had yet to score 20 points in a single game, but that streak ended with Cleveland’s 29-24 upset win over the Ravens. The win marked the first time since Dec. 28 that the Browns topped 20 points in a game.
With Deshaun Watson out for the season, the Browns turned to Jameis Winston, who diced up the Ravens defense for 334 yards, which is especially impressive when you consider that Watson didn’t throw for 200 yards in any of his seven games this year before getting injured last week (his season-high was 196 yards).”
