The Lions dismantled the Titans to the tune of 38 unanswered points. Here are the best reactions from the game.
On Sunday afternoon before thousands of screaming fans, the Detroit Lions delivered another trashing to an unsuspecting team.
Some worried, especially after a testy first quarter, the Lions perhaps let their guard down. But 14-to-14 quickly turned into 52-14 as Detroit steamrolled the Tennessee Titans in every facet of the game.
Here are some of the best reactions to this beatdown:
The @Lions aren’t just trying to win football games. They are trying to EMBARRASS YOU. +73 point differential the last 3 weeks. 40 points + in 3 of last 4 games. MY GAWD.

Credit to Ben Johnson: Lions have had some of the easiest TDs ever today, like no defender in the picture types. Playing on short fields helps, but Johnson just knows how to scheme it up and call it. The best in the NFL right now.

And now Kalif Raymond brings a punt back for a touchdown. So the Lions have 9 net passing yards (including sacks), and 42 points. That’s an incredible tribute to team play. Just amazing. https://t.co/vIUuF3PDNd

Incredible: the @Lions came into this game with more offensive TDs than incompletions in their last 4 games…and they’re still doing it. 4 TDs today, 2 incompletions pic.twitter.com/en7eGfBqRN

And onto the rest of your notes.
- In a performance that likely has Jared Goff shaking in his boots, QB1 David Montgomery dazzled in the second quarter with a beautiful touchdown throw to Sam LaPorta. What some might not know is this isn’t his first time behind center.
Don’t forget that David Montgomery played QB in high school and described himself as “elite” at the position pic.twitter.com/No5iORLQTj

- With Halloween being just a couple days away—and the next Lions home game several week away—there were spooky sights abound at Ford Field on Sunday.
