Our staff makes their expert picks for the NFL Week 8 battle between the Detroit Lions and Tennessee Titans.
The Detroit Lions (5-1) will take on the Tennessee Titans (1-5) in Week 8, returning to Ford Field for their first home game in nearly a month.
“Yeah, just it feels good to get back in front of our fans, our place, the environment of it, our own home routine,” Lions coach Dan Campbell said. “You get things done here and you’re back at your own place. It’s just, it’s good. There’s a time and a place for everything and sometimes it’s good to go on the road but it does, it feels like it’s been forever. I know we’re us, but the players are excited to get back home. Our environment has been building and we have a special environment that not everybody has, so to be able to get back in front of our crowd and apply a little pressure on the opponent, it’s exciting.”
The Lions are currently the best team in the NFC and if they can get a win over the Titans, they’ll continue to separate themselves from the pack, as only two other NFC teams (Minnesota Vikings and Washington Commanders) have won five games this season, but they’ve also lost two.
