Will the Rams be able to run their winning streak in the series to three?
The Los Angeles Rams are on a two-game winning streak, aiming to make it three in a row against the Seattle Seahawks, with LA listed as a 1.5-point underdog at FanDuel Sportsbook. Last season, the Rams swept the season series for the first time since the 2021 campaign. Hell of a way to send off Pete Carroll if you ask me.
The Rams won their second in a row with a 30-20 win over the Vikings on Thursday Night Football. LA’s win came with a little controversy, but I think we can skip over that for the time being. No need to regurgitate what talking heads around the league have been ranting about for the last couple of days. Anyway, Matthew Stafford had his best game of the year versus Minnesota by tossing 4 touchdown passes, including one to a healthy Cooper Kupp.

Puka Nacua had 7 receptions for 106 yards in his return to the lineup and Kyren Williams tacked on 116 total yards and a touchdown from Stafford.
While the Rams had a nice Week 8, the Seahawks didn’t as they were blown out at home by the Bills in a 31-10 defeat. Seattle has lost four of their last five after surprisingly starting the year 3-0. Geno Smith had absolutely zero help in the run game against Buffalo as Kenneth Walker was held to 12 yards on 9 carries. Smith actually led the Hawks in rushing with 16 yards. However, former Rams linebacker Ernest Jones had a solid game in his debut with his new team.

The Seahawks are tied with Arizona for first place in the NFC West at 4-4, so next week’s matchup with LA could make the divisional chase all the more fascinating (and cursed). Seattle was sloppy at home against the Bills and I don’t see them playing like that for the second week in a row. Although the Rams are getting healthy in the passing game and I expect them to win their third straight to even their record.
