Big news for the Bengals!
The Cincinnati Bengals will have safety Geno Stone and left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. when the Philadelphia Eagles come to Paycor Stadium.
On Friday, head coach Zac Taylor announced that Brown and Stone were good to go for Sunday’s big showdown.
This is a major development for a Cincinnati team that’s won three of four games but is about to face one of its biggest tests of the entire season. Stone is coming off arguably his best game with the Bengals, recording an interception in the team’s 21-14 win over the Cleveland Browns.
Brown, meanwhile, has been one of the NFL’s best pass-blocking tackles this season. He currently has an 81.9 pass-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus, which would be the second-highest of his seven-year career. It also ranks 14th in the NFL among offensive tackles who’ve played at least 20% of their team’s snaps.
“They’re good” to play… Zac Taylor on Geno Stone and Orlando Brown Jr. “I don’t expect any setbacks.”
