Top receiver has chance to play against Chiefs
The 2-5 Las Vegas Raiders need all the resources they can get Sunday when they host the 6-0 Kansas City Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday (1:25 p.m. PT kickoff) as they attempt to break a three-game losing streak.
So, the practice week began with some good news as Raiders’ coach Antonio Pierce said wide receiver Jakobi Meyers will practice Wednesday. That is a sign, barring a setback, that Meyers should play against Kansas City.
Meyers missed the past two games and past two weeks of practice due to an ankle injury. Meyers became the Raiders’ No. 1 wide receiver after the trade of star Davante Adams to the New York Jets,
Meyers has 25 catches for 273 yards and one touchdown in five games and is a solid No. 2 option behind rookie star tight end Brock Bowers.

Star Raiders’ defensive end Maxx Crosby has missed practice the past few Wednesday, so the fact that he is practicing is a sign he’s getting closer to full health. That’s important considering Patrick Mahomes looms.
Guard Dylan Parham is still out of practice with a foot injury. He missed Week 7, but Peirce said last week he doesn’t expect it to be a long-term injury. Jordan Meredith replaced Parham and played well.

Left tackle Kolton Miller and backup tight end Harrison Bryant both missed practice with elbow injuries.
