How two spotty Giants draft classes have them on a downward spiral again | New York Post
Player development is essential for building a successful NFL franchise. The first two draft classes in the Joe Schoen era have not shown enough, at this point.

Giants veteran on Bill Belichick’s criticism: ‘I don’t really care about his (opinion)’ | NJ.com
“Bill was my coach before, and you know, I talk about how much I disliked New England,” Eluemunor said on WFAN, via Audacy. “So, whatever Bill thinks is what Bill thinks; everyone’s free to have their opinion and I don’t really care about his. We’ve been one of the best when it comes to pass blocking in the league, and when we get the opportunity to run block, we’ve been pretty damn good, too. So, I couldn’t care less what a coach outside the building who’s not even a coach right now has to say; that’s not a shot towards him, obviously he’s a legendary coach, but I couldn’t care less what someone outside the building has to say about our unit when there’s a lot worse situations than ours right now.”
Giants’ Brian Daboll must stop overthinking offensive line tweak | NJ.com
We all knew that Andrew Thomas’ season-ending injury had the potential to derail any progress the Giants offensive line had made to this point.
It’s obvious why, too. Up until his foot injury, Thomas, a former All-Pro, ranked 20th among tackles with an overall grade of 74.3, according to Pro Football Focus — with nearly identical grades in pass blocking (71.8) and run blocking (71.6).
Thibodeaux talks about his timeline to get back on the field
Spoke to Giants OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux at his second annual Jream Foundation Gala. Thibodeaux said the timeline to return from the broken scaphoid bone in his wrist is 4-to-8 weeks. He will be on IR for at least the next two games.

2024 NFL Trade Block Big Board Entering Week 8 | Bleacher Report
Giants pass-rusher Azeez Ojulari remains in our top spot for the second successive week. New York may look to add to its offensive line so it can better protect (and evaluate) quarterback Daniel Jones before the offseason. However, the 2-5 Giants should be willing to move impending free agents like Ojulari.
Detroit, naturally, should be interested in acquiring Ojulari before the trade deadline. The Bills could also be interested. While their defense has recorded 19 sacks through seven games, A.J. Epenesa leads the team with only four. Buffalo’s play for Cooper also shows that the franchise is going all-in on the 2024 campaign, and it may not be finished.
Chiefs, Steelers expected to aggressively pursue a wide receiver as NFL trade deadline draws closer | CBSSports.com
The wide receiver market saw a flurry of activity this week, and there’s more to come as the Nov. 5 trade deadline gets closer. Sources around the league believe the Giants could part with Darius Slayton as the deadline nears.
Buyers and sellers ahead of 2024 NFL trade deadline: Can Lions add key piece? Titans teardown on? | NFL.com
With a significant investment already made in Brian Burns, Big Blue could have one of the better trade chips heading toward the deadline in Azeez Ojulari. The 2021 second-rounder’s snaps increased following an injury to Kayvon Thibodeaux, and Ojulari has surged, generating three sacks, nine pressures and a 20.5 percent pressure rate in the past two weeks. The impending free agent could be enticing to a pass-rush-needy club. Veteran receiver Darius Slayton, another impending free agent, could also be shopped.

Ranking 8 NFL Teams That Need the Hardest Reset | Bleacher Report
Admit Daniel Jones isn’t the answer, tank the rest of the year and find your next quarterback so that you don’t waste prime years for Malik Nabers, Andrew Thomas, Brian Burns and Dexter Lawrence.
Head coach Brian Daboll hasn’t worked out great, either. That might be stale, too. Thus, they’re sort of in a similar situation to the Jets, except with less non-quarterback talent on both sides of the ball.
32 NFL observations after Week 7: DK Metcalf is peerless in contested-catch situations | PFF
Malik Nabers returned to action this week and continued to be the top-ranked rookie wide receiver grading-wise. His 81.5 grade is getting closed in on by Brian Thomas Jr. (79.6), though.
