A step in the right direction.
The Cincinnati Bengals were back on the practice field Thursday as they prepare for this weekend’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. With a relatively light injury report, the team got good news Thursday.
Starting free safety Geno Stone (shin) was back at practice Thursday, albeit on a limited basis. The fact that Stone was able to get back to practice at all is a great sign, given the fact that he was carted off in an air cast just four days ago.
Offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. was also limited as he deals with a knee injury suffered Sunday. Brown was in uniform for practice, but did not participate in offensive line drills that the media was present for.
Defensive end Trey Hendrickson was back after Wednesday’s personal day and a full participant.
Joe Burrow (wrist) and Kris Jenkins (thumb) both went full but appeared on the report for any treatment they received. Both will likely be listed on the report for several weeks to come, but they will be good to go on gameday.
For the Eagles, Dallas Goedert (hamstring) and Mekhi Becton (concussion) got another DNP, so those two starters could be out Sunday. Backup Byron Young (hamstring) also got a DNP.
All of the other Eagles players were able to practice in at least a limited capacity.
