The New York Giants (2-5) hit the road for another primetime matchup in Week 8, this time a Monday Night Football encounter with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who lead the AFC North with a 5-2 record.
Game time is 8:15 p.m. ET at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pa. It will be broadcast on ESPN and ABC. The Giants are 6.5-point underdogs, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
Giants starting quarterback Daniel Jones is 1-15 in primetime starts, and the Giants are 2-18 in primetime games since Jones and Dexter Lawrence were drafted in 2019.
The Giants enter the game off back-to-back losses, having scored just 10 total points in games at home against the Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles.
Head coach Brian Daboll has been clear that Jones will remain the team’s starting quarterback despite the offensive struggles.
The Steelers are No. 2 in the NFL in points allowed, so an offensive turnaround on Monday seems unlikely.
With Russell Wilson starting at quarterback for the first time, the Steelers had their best offensive output of the season in Week 7. They scored 37 points and compiled 409 total yards, both season highs, in a 37-15 victory over the New York Jets.
