The Colts will now face the Vikings on Sunday Night Football during a primetime matchup for Week 9.

It will be another rare primetime opportunity for the Colts, who also are scheduled to travel to the New York Jets during Week 11 for another Sunday Night Football game—albeit, it’s still another nationally televised road game.
One day, we’ll get the bright lights back to Lucas Oil consistently.
The league’s latest flex move makes sense too. While the Eagles (4-2) have righted the ship in recent weeks—on a two-game winning streak, the Jaguars are 2-5. Meanwhile, the Colts-Vikings matchup features two legitimate potential playoff teams as it stands.
The Colts-Vikings are currently at a standstill with a career record of 18-18-1 against one another.
Of course, the last time these two teams faced off at U.S. Bank Stadium on December 17, 2022, the Vikings historically (and shockingly) rallied back from a 33-0 halftime deficit to beat the Colts, 39-36 in overtime.
These 5-1 Vikings look a lot different, as do the Colts, but that has to still leave a bitter taste.
The Colts’ Week 9 road Sunday night game against the Vikings will officially kick off at 8:20 PM EST and will be televised nationally on NBC and listened to locally on 93.5 & 107.5 The Fan / 97.1 Hank FM.
