The Buffalo Bills (5-2) came into Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans (1-5) looking to keep their winning ways going following last week’s crucial win over the New York Jets. Buffalo also got the chance to see how their offense would look with star wide receiver Amari Cooper in the fold against a Titans defense that was ninth-stingiest in the NFL in points allowed and first in yards allowed.
Despite how well Tennessee’s defense had been playing coming into the contest, the Bills still came out on top with a dominating 34-10 win over the Titans. Star quarterback Josh Allen had a solid outing, completing 21 of 33 passes for 323 yards and two touchdowns, one each Cooper and rookie wideout Keon Coleman.
This game had a rough beginning for Buffalo as they went into halftime trailing Tennessee 10-7 before going off in the second half of the contest. With Sunday’s win, the Bills look to be the class of the AFC East.
Without further ado, here is the stock report following the Bills’ win over the Titans:
Stock Up: QB Josh Allen

As he is expected to be, Allen was the best player on the field for the Bills and he is the reason that Buffalo was able to pull away from Tennessee in the second half. Not only did Allen throw the football all over the field, he also helped four different receivers compile at least 52 receiving yards on the day in a all-around great offensive effort.
Stock Down: RB James Cook

Cook returned to Buffalo’s lineup after missing last week’s win over the Jets due to a toe injury, but it was clear that he is still recovering from that injury due to his ineffectiveness on the ground. While Cook did score a touchdown, he ran the ball 12 times for 32 yards (2.7 yards per carry), his worst rushing performance of the season thus far.
Stock Up: DE Greg Rousseau

Sunday was the kind of day where Rousseau didn’t have the most prolific day in terms of pure statistics, but it was clear that he was the best player on the defensive line for the Bills as they were trying to keep Tennessee’s offense in check. Rousseau registered just 0.5 sacks, but he also had five tackles (two solo) and had six QB hits as he kept getting to Mason Rudolph.
Stock Down: TE Dawson Knox

While it has been foreseeable since before the season started, it seems that Knox has faded into the background in terms of the pass-catchers within the offense in lieu of fellow tight end Dalton Kincaid. Knox caught just one of three targets for five yards, his fourth game this season with five or less receiving yards.
Stock Up: WR Keon Coleman

After what Hall-of-Fame wide receiver had to say about Coleman, there was a valid reason to wonder if the Bills were doing the best for his development this early in his career. There could have been even more of a reason to worry about Coleman’s development after Buffalo traded for star wide receiver Amari Cooper, but in this one, Coleman put those fears to rest as he exploded for 125 receiving yards on four targets.
Stock Up: LB Terrel Bernard

While Bernard left this game with an ankle injury, he had himself quite the game prior to his departure as part of an overall great effort from the Bills’ defense against a Tennessee offense that has been struggling thus far into the season. Bernard put up eight tackles (six solo) while also putting up two tackles for losses, showing his ability to get into the Titans’ backfield and cause havoc when the defense needed a play to be made.
