The Eagles are 3-2 heading into their first NFC East matchup of the 2024 NFL season, and getting consecutive wins out of the bye would be huge — plus, it’s always fun to beat the Giants.
As much as the team needs a win, Saquon Barkley is also looking for a little just desserts over his former team. The RB will tell you that he isn’t approaching this game differently, but it’s hard to imagine it’s not on his mind. Barkley deserves to go into MetLife as an Eagle and run directly through the heart of the Giants defense.
It should be an exciting game for the Eagles’ young secondary too, who get Sydney Brown back. Brown, along with Quinyon Mitchell — who is due for his first career interception — and Cooper DeJean should make for a high-flying defense on Sunday. Hopefully.
