The seventh Sunday of the 2024 NFL regular season is nearly here! Let’s run through a Philadelphia Eagles-focused rooting guide for all of the Week 7 games.
EAGLES GAME
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES at NEW YORK GIANTS: The Eagles will be 4-2 with a win. Go Birds.
NFC EAST
CAROLINA PANTHERS at WASHINGTON COMMANDERS: The first place Commanders probably aren’t going to lose as 9.5-point home favorites. But a big upset would certainly be welcomed in Philly. Root for the Panthers.
NFC PLAYOFF PICTURE
HOUSTON TEXANS at GREEN BAY PACKERS: The Eagles should prefer the Packers not winning the NFC North. Root for the Texans.
DETROIT LIONS at MINNESOTA VIKINGS: The Vikings are undefeated, yes, but they Lions are the scarier team in the bigger picture. Preferable to see Minny win the NFC North instead of Detroit or Green Bay. Root for the Vikings.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS at ATLANTA FALCONS: It’d be preferable to see the Seahawks win the NFC West over San Francisco. Also, the Falcons have a head-to-head tiebreaker over Philly when it comes to playoff seeding. Root for the Seahawks.
LAS VEGAS RAIDERS at LOS ANGELES RAMS: Might as well root for the Rams to be killed off. Root for the Raiders.
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS at SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS: Always nice to see the Niners lose. Root for the Chiefs.
BALTIMORE RAVENS at TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS: Considering how poorly they seem to match up against them, the Eagles probably don’t want to see the Bucs win the NFC South. Tampa has that head-to-head tiebreaker over Philly. Root for the Ravens.
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS at ARIZONA CARDINALS: AFC team over NFC team. Root for the Chargers.
DRAFT PICK WATCH
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS at JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS: The Eagles want to a non-Texans team win the AFC South since they own Houston’s fifth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Root for the Jaguars.
TENNESSEE TITANS at BUFFALO BILLS: The Eagles want to a non-Texans team win the AFC South since they own Houston’s fifth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Root for the Titans.
MIAMI DOLPHINS at INDIANAPOLIS COLTS: The Eagles want to a non-Texans team win the AFC South since they own Houston’s fifth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Root for the Colts.
WHAT’S LEFT
CINCINNATI BENGALS at CLEVELAND BROWNS: A matchup between the Eagles’ Week 6 opponent and their Week 8 opponent. The Birds will hope to see the Bengals not play well. Root for the Browns.
