Raiders might be short-handed at wide receiver for second week in a row
For the second game in a row, the Las Vegas Raiders might be diving deep into the depth chart at wide receiver. The Raiders released their second injury report of the week ahead of their Week 7 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams and wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (ankle) was listed as a non-participant again.

Meyers missed last Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas also played without Davante Adams, who was dealing with a hamstring injury. Of course, Adams was traded to the New York Jets earlier on Tuesday. So if Meyers isn’t available this weekend, this will be the second game in a row the offense will be without its top two wideouts heading into the season.
Last week, quarterback Aidan O’Connell threw for 227 yards while Brock Bowers led the team with nine catches for 71 yards. DJ Turner led the team’s wideouts with just 37 yards while Alex Bachman had 31, Kristian Wilkins finished with 32 and Tre Tucker didn’t have a catch. That’s likely the crew the Raiders will roll with if Meyers is out.
Las Vegas is also dealing with injuries to several other players as the rest of Thursday’s report is below.
- DT Adam Butler (knee) FP
- EDGE Maxx Crosby (ankle) DNP
