Who will be in, out for Sunday?
The New York Giants got some potentially good injury news on Friday. Star defensive players Dexter Lawrence (hip) and Brian Burns (groin) are both expected to practice, per head coach Brian Daboll.
Neither player practiced Wednesday or Thursday, though both insisted on Wednesday that they would be ready to play Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Punter Jamie Gillan will miss a second straight game with a hamstring injury. Veteran Matt Haack will handle that job.
Wide receiver Malik Nabers, who passed the NFL’s concussion protocol on Thursday, was expected to practice in full on Friday. Nabers missed two games with his concussion.
Running back Devin Singletary, who has missed two games with a groin injury, is also expected to practice.
The Giants will be without star left tackle Andrew Thomas, who will be lost for the season due to Lisfranc foot surgery. Edge defender Kayvon Thibodeaux (wrist) and placekicker Graham Gano (hamstring) are also on IR.
Full game statuses and injury-related practice information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
