The Miami Dolphins visit the Indianapolis Colts in Week 7.

The Miami Dolphins visit the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday as the league’s Week 7 schedule gets into full swing. Miami is coming off their bye week, giving the team a chance to look at themselves and make internal adjustments while also getting healthy for the final 12-week run through the season. While any adjustments the team made will not be seen until Sunday’s game, the health part is already starting to show up as the team released their injury report for the game.

Running back De’Von Achane, who left the team’s Week 5 game with a head injury, has cleared the league’s concussion protocols and is cleared to play this weekend. He was a full participant throughout the week’s practices and was not given a game-day designation for Sunday, indicating he should be available if he does not suffer any setbacks.

It was not all good news for Miami, however. Safety Jevon Holland, who broke his hand in Week 5, was listed as doubtful for Sunday. He was expected to undergo surgery for the injury, with the possibility of missing multiple games during the recovery. Head coach Mike McDaniel has indicated Holland may be able to play before he is 100 percent, but it does not appear that will include playing this weekend.

Miami listed wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr., (hamstring/personal), long snapper Blake Ferguson (personal), tackle Austin Jackson (back), linebacker David Long, Jr., (knee), linebacker Emmanuel Ogbah (bicep), cornerback Cam Smith (hamstring), and quarterback Skylar Thompson (ribs) as questionable. Beckham, Ferguson, and Jackson were all Friday additions to the week’s practice reports, with Beckham not practicing and both Ferguson and Jackson limited on the day.

Smith is in the practice phase of returning from the injured reserve.

Thompson began the season as the team’s second string quarterback, assuming the starting role in Week 3 after Pro Bowl quarterback Tua Tagovailoa sustained a concussion in Week 2. Thompson was injured during the Week 3 contest, with Tyler Huntley assuming the top spot on the depth chart. Huntley will start in Week 7, with the possibility of Tagovailoa being cleared from injured reserve for Week 8.

Listed on the injury report during the week but not receiving a designation for the game, effectively clearing them to play, were Achane, tackle Kendall Lamm (elbow), linebacker Mohamed Kamar (ankle), and safety Jordan Poyer. Tackle Terron Armstead and defensive tackle Calais Campbell did not practice on Wednesday, but were removed from the injury report after their rest day.

On Thursday, they ruled out running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) and defensive back Chris Lammons (ankle).

Update: The Colts’ side of the injury report added six players additional designations for the game. Wide receiver Josh Downs (toe), defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo (hamstring), wide receiver Michael Pittman, Jr., (back), tackle Braden Smith (knee), linebacker EJ Speed (knee), and wide received Alec Pierce (shoulder) were all listed as questionable. Defensive tackle Grover Stewart did not practice on Friday, but was held out for a rest day and not for an injury reason.
