A relatively clean report, though a tad concerning to see Burrow has a new injury.
The Cincinnati Bengals started their week of practice with a refreshingly light injury report as they prepare to take on the Cleveland Browns.
With everyone but DJ Turner II (ankle) fully go on Wednesday, Thursday’s report brought more good news as the Bengals look to pick up a much-needed AFC North win.
Thursday’s report looks identical to Wednesday’s, with the exception of a new injury for Joe Burrow showing up. Burrow was still a full participant and we have seen the wrist injury listed all year, since he receives treatment on it. But Thursday’s report also lists a shin injury for Burrow. That is the first we have seen of it, so it could be something to keep an eye on.
Cornerback DJ Ivey (knee) and defensive tackle Kris Jenkins (thumb) both show up on the report since they received some sort of treatment, but they both took part in a full practice.
Turner remains limited with the ankle injury but should be good to suit up Sunday, barring any setbacks.
Cleveland’s long list of injuries got some help. Defensive end Myles Garrett (Achilles) was back to a full participant after being limited on Wednesday. Center Ethan Pocic (knee) was out Wednesday but listed as limited on Thursday.
Offensive tackle Jedrick Wills (shoulder, knee) was upgraded from limited to a full participant.
Safety Grant Delpit (concussion), running back D’Onta Foreman (groin), linebacker Jordan Hicks (elbow, triceps), safety Juan Thornhill (calf), and cornerback Denzel Ward (hamstring) were all limited participants.
Safety Ronnie Hickman (ankle) and running back Jerome Ford (hamstring) both missed their second straight day of practice.
