Nick Chubb has a heartfelt message for the city of Cleveland

The Browns’ star running back provides the fanbase with an emotional message on Wednesday

Nick Chubb will likely be back on the football field for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday for the first time since his devastating knee injury at the beginning of the 2023 season.

Not only will this be an incredibly emotional game for the fanbase and organization, but it’ll undoubtedly be for Chubb himself as well. Be prepared to see a lot of tears from Nick before the game on Sunday, seeing as he just overcame something most people couldn’t.

Normally, players who suffer multiple catastrophic knee injuries like he has throughout his collegiate and professional careers might lean towards giving up.

Not Nick Chubb.

The amount of toughness, determination, and overall drive that Chubb has shown throughout his offseason rehabilitation program has been absolutely astonishing over the past year. This morning, in a heartfelt piece for the Player’s Tribune, he credited Cleveland and its loyal fanbase for their support during this tough time.

With everything negative that’s going on right now in Cleveland regarding the Browns and the whole “Deshaun Watson” situation, this is a much-needed morale booster.

At 1-5, it would be easy for everyone to give up and start planning for next season and beyond but anybody reading this piece should be ready to run through a wall for Nick Chubb and this team.
