The latest news on Philadelphia and New York.
The Philadelphia Eagles issued their first official injury report on Wednesday in advance of their Week 7 road game against the New York Giants.
The Eagles listed three players under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: Dallas Goedert, Jordan Mailata, and Milton Williams.
Goedert reportedly “could be out for a few weeks.” The Eagles currently have Grant Calcaterra and Jack Stoll on the roster behind him.
Mailata said he will miss multiple games. Fred Johnson was seen lining up at left tackle in the media-attended portion of Wednesday’s practice, so, it looks like he’ll be the starter on Sunday.
Williams is unexpectedly appearing in this section. We’ll see if he’s upgraded tomorrow or stays under DNP.
The Eagles listed XXX players under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: Darius Slay, Jaylx Hunt, and Oren Burks.
Slay is reportedly on track to play against the Giants.
Unless they got newly injured in today’s practice, Hunt and Burks will probably be available this weekend.
The Eagles listed three players under FULL PARTICIPATION: Albert Okwuegbunam, Sydney Brown, and Ainias Smith.
The Eagles opened Albert O’s 21-day practice window on Wednesday. We’ll see if the team activates him to the roster to be a third tight end.
The Eagles opened Brown’s practice window last week. He might be ready to play against the Giants (at MetLife, where he got hurt) after two weeks of ramping up.
The Eagles opened Smith’s practice window last week. But I don’t think they’ll be in a rush to activate the rookie receiver to the roster for this game.

NEW YORK GIANTS INJURY REPORT (WEDNESDAY)
The big news is that leading receiver Malik Nabers was upgraded to limited participation after previously not practicing since suffering a concussion in Week 4. Brian Daboll said he’s “optimistic” about Nabers’ chances of playing.
Brian Burns and Dexter Lawrence not practicing would seem like a big deal since they’re the Giants’ top two defensive linemen. But they told reporters they’re going to be ready to play on Sunday.
Starting left tackle Andrew Thomas is expected to miss the rest of the season. That’s obviously not good news for the Giants. Daboll indicated that the G-Men will try different offensive line configurations in practice this week.
Punter Jamie Gillan could miss another game. The Giants turned to Matt Haack, who’s on their practice squad, as a fill-in during Week 6.
Second and third leading receivers Darius Slayton and Wan’Dale Robinson were both limited.
Leading rusher Devin Singletary might return this week after missing multiple games.
