A stress-free week for Vikings fans
The Minnesota Vikings will not be taking the field this week, getting some time to reflect, recover, and enjoy being the last undefeated team in the NFC. But the NFL doesn’t stop just because the purple aren’t participating, as we’ve got a full slate of action today. Around here, that can only mean one thing.
Yes, it’s the first true RED ZONE SUNDAY here at The Daily Norseman. Today, we can sit back on the couch, flip to the channel that has become known as man’s greatest invention since the crock pot, and enjoy. . .say it along with me. . .”Seven Hours of Commercial-Free Football!”
The thread is up this early because there’s another London game today, as the Chicago Bears are “hosting” the Jacksonville Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where the Vikings knocked off New York last week and got Robert Saleh fired. That game is on the NFL Network, and here’s the rest of the schedule for Week 6. FOX has the doubleheader this week.
Early Games on FOX
- Red – Arizona Cardinals at Green Bay Packers – Kevin Kugler, Daryl Johnston
- Blue – Cleveland Browns at Philadelphia Eagles – Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma
- Green – Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints – Adam Amin, Greg Olsen
Late Games on FOX
- Red – Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys – Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady
- Blue – Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers – Chris Myers, Mark Sanchez
Games on CBS (Early unless otherwise indicated)
- Red – Washington Commanders at Baltimore Ravens – Jim Nantz, Tony Romo
- Green – Houston Texans at New England Patriots – Kevin Harlan, Trent Green
- Orange – Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans – Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta
- Blue – Pittsburgh Steelers at Las Vegas Raiders (LATE) – Ian Eagle, Charles Davis
- Yellow – Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos (LATE) – Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber, Jason McCourty
Along with the Vikings, the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams, and Miami Dolphins are on the bye this week.
Sunday Night Football on NBC will feature the Cincinnati Bengals traveling to take on the New York Giants, while Monday Night Football on ESPN will match the Buffalo Bills against the New York Jets.
If you’ll be watching the action today, feel free to hang out here and watch all the action, whether you have the Red Zone Channel or not, with your fellow Vikings fans.
Enjoy this Sunday, everyone!
