Watch the Detroit Lions pull off a beautifully-perfect flea-flicker for a 52-yard touchdown!
These days, it seems like the Detroit Lions are good for at least one trick play per game. Against the Dallas Cowboys, the Lions didn’t waste much time. Early in the second quarter, offensvie coorindator Ben Johnson dialed up a reverse flea flicker that worked to absolutely perfection.
Jared Goff pitched it to David Montgomery, who flipped it to Amon-Ra St. Brown, who then lateraled it back to Goff. In the meantime, tight end Sam LaPorta hard sold blocking on the play, only to leak out late and find a bunch of a open field in front of him.
Goff laid a perfect ball to him for a huge 52-yard touchdown and an early 17-3 lead in the game.

It looks like the offense has picked up where it left off before the bye week, when they hung 42 points on the Seattle Seahawks. Of course, the Lions have struggled in the past to put up a four-quarter performance, so let’s see if they can keep the pressure on the Cowboys.
