The Bengals center has made an effort to learn from the best.
You’ve probably noticed an improvement in the Cincinnati Bengals’ offensive line this year. And while the right side has finally been solidified with the addition of Amarius Mims, there might be more to their growth than personnel changes.
Bengals.com’s Geoff Hobson wrote that Ted Karras and the offensive line met with Bengals legends on Thursday ahead of a big matchup against Dexter Lawrence and the New York Giants.
“That was fun. Great listening to those guys,” Orlando Brown Jr. said about Thursday’s dinner.
In the article, Hobson mentions that Karras and Bengals Hall of Famer Anthony Muñoz came up with the idea for the current line and the greats to meet regularly so that the former can learn wisdom from the latter.
Let’s hope the legends had some solid advice for slowing down Lawrence, who is coming off a three-sack performance against the Seattle Seahawks.
We previewed the Bengals Sunday night game against the Giants in our most recent show with Sophie Ross.
