Great news for the Bengals backfield.
The Cincinnati Bengals have elevated cornerback Jalen Davis and offensive lineman Trey Hill from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday’s game vs. the New York Giants.
Davis and Hill are both classified as standard elevations. As practice squad players being elevated to the active roster for Week 6, they will automatically revert to the practice squad on Monday.
In other news, FOX reporter Jordan Schultz says that Bengals running back Chase Brown will play Sunday in New York.
Brown popped up on the injury report following Thursday’s practice with a quad injury. He was limited in practice over the last two days and is considered questionable to play, so this report from Schultz is great news.
The second-year Brown leads the team in rushing yards (230) and yards per carry (5.6) on 41 carries.
