Denzel Ward, Jordan Hicks key defenders questionable for Week 6
Spoiler alert for a little later, the Philadelphia Eagles have zero players with injury designations going into Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns. The visiting Browns have a huge list of players, as they have all week, either out or questionable for the game.
Starting out, Cleveland is not activating RB Nick Chubb from the PUP list. They must do so next week or place him on injured reserve for the rest of the season. Technically, the Browns noted Chubb as “Out” for the game against the Eagles but he’s not actually on their 53-man roster.
In total, including Chubb, Cleveland has six players out and four questionable including two designated to return from IR:
Browns Injury Report
- RB Nick Chubb – Knee – Out
- S Grant Delpit – Concussion – Out
- LB Mohamoud Diabate – Hip – Questionable – Designated to return from IR this week
- S Ronnie Hickman Jr. – Ankle – Out
- LB Jordan Hicks – Elbow, Triceps – Questionable
- RB Nyheim Hines – Knee – Out – Designated to return from NFI two weeks ago
- OT James Hudson – Shoulder – Out – OT posted about his surgery Thursday night
- DT Maurice Hurst – Ankle – Questionable – Designated to return from IR this week
- OL Ethan Pocic – Knee – Out
- CB Denzel Ward – Hamstring – Questionable
Some big news with Jack Conklin, Jedrick Wills and David Njoku not having injury designations going into the game. Ward was limited in practice on Friday, as was Hicks, while Diabate and Hurst (who need to be activated and added to the 53-man roster to play) were full participants.
Eagles Injury Report
- Literally everyone was a full participant in practice on Friday leading to no injury designations for Week 6.
