The Detroit Lions have released their final injury designations ahead of their Week 6 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.

The Detroit Lions closed out their week of practice and have declared their injury designations ahead of their game against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6. The Lions had all their eligible players practicing on Friday and they look to be in very good shape for their trip to Texas.

Let’s take a closer look, noting that any changes from Thursday’s report will be bolded.

Ruled OUT

  • G Christian Mahogany (illness) — Still on NFI list (Evaluation days remaining: 17)

While Mahogany is practicing, the Lions don’t appear ready to make a decision on his injury status and will continue their evaluation process next week. As a reminder, they can have him participate for at least the next two weeks before needing to make a decision, though he is eligible to be removed at any time.

Questionable

  • N/A

Not listed with an injury designation

  • S Kerby Joseph (hamstring)
  • C Frank Ragnow (pec)
  • S Brian Branch (illness)

Joseph practiced in full to start the week, then exited practice early on Thursday to deal with a hamstring injury. He was back on the practice field on Friday and coach Dan Campbell believes he’ll be ready to go for Sunday’s game.

“Yeah, he’s going to practice today so I think we’ll be OK,” Campbell said on Friday morning. “We’ll see, we’ll know a lot more after today’s practice.”

Apparently, it was good news, as Joseph does not have an injury designation for Sunday.

Ragnow practiced in full all week and all indications have been pointing towards him returning to game action this weekend. With his return to center, Graham Glasgow will shift back to left guard and Kayode Awosika will retreat into a reserve role.

Branch also practiced all week as it appears he has put his illness behind him. With Joseph working through a hamstring injury, the timing is ideal for Branch to return to the lineup. Ideally, both safeties will be ready to go, as Joseph and Branch have been one of the team’s better positional pairs this season.

“Kerby and BB [Branch], those guys are really growing as communicators in the back end,” Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn said of the pair. “Obviously, we know they can make plays and they’ve been very productive for us and that’s no surprise to me or anybody else on the defense because they’re damn good players and we expect that out of them.”

  • LB Eric Kendricks (calf/shoulder)
  • EDGE Micah Parsons (ankle)

Questionable

  • LB Nick Vigil (foot)
  • CB DaRon Bland (foot)
  • CB Caelen Carson (shoulder)
