Phinsider Question Of The Day: Bye Week Decisions Edition

Phinsider Question Of The Day: Bye Week Decisions Edition

Our Miami Dolphins have already reached their bye week. While the team has not performed anywhere near the level that we had hoped, they are still in second place in the AFC East and only one game back of the first-place Buffalo Bills. Miami will have to play at least one more game without starter Tua Tagovailoa. At least right now, that game looks winnable as it’s against another poor team, the Indianapolis Colts. But what about the current bye week? Some changes can still be made.

Some fans have called for trading for some depth players, including a better backup quarterback given Tua’s habit of getting injured or more specifically, coming down with a concussion. Some fans have decided that it’s all over and that we should go out and trade away value players for draft picks. I think it’s a bit premature for that take, but I could see it being a viable option down the road, before the trade deadline, if things go further south. What about the current state of the special teams? Does a replacement for Danny Crossman seem like a good idea mid-season? And if so, who would we bring in?

Those are just a few of the things I have seen in the world of social media, but there are many more takes than what the team should have done or should have already done. So now is your chance.

So this evening’s Phinsider Question Of The Day is: What would you like to see from your Miami Dolphins during the bye week, in terms of changes that need to be made to the team or the staff or otherwise?
