There’s not much more the star can do.
The Cincinnati Bengals may be struggling to win ball games, but QB1 is still thriving.
Joe Burrow has been absolutely on fire the last three games, pushing his season totals to 72% completion and a QB rating of 113.6.
According to NFL senior researcher Tony Holzman-Escareno, that’s the highest completion percentage and passer rating by a QB on a team that started 1-4 since 1950.

But hold on. There’s more.
Burrow is also only the third QB in NFL history to have a losing record while throwing at least 12 TDs and completing at least 70% of his passes.
Hang on, one last stat. Burrow is second in the entire NFL in QBR (ESPN’s QB stat) with a rating of 73.6, behind only MVP candidate Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills (77.6).
So yeah. The QB isn’t the reason the Bengals aren’t winning games right now.
We talked about Burrow’s amazing start in losing efforts in our most recent show, featuring Sophie Ross.
And as always, Who Dey!
