The Colts remain on the road and in the division for week six.
Two teams with no love lost between them square off in week six in Nashville. The Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans know each other well and will be meeting for the first time this season. Neither is off to the start they want and are attempting to keep the division title in their sites. FanDuel Sportsbook sees this division battle as a close one but is giving the Colts an edge in the spread at 1.5.
The money line sits at -112 with the over/under at 42.5.
The Colts lost a heart breaker in Jacksonville against the Jaguars. They have become all too accustomed to losing there, and it looked like the game was getting away from them late. A 65-yard bomb to Alec Pierce tied it in the fourth, but another lackluster performance by the defense was too much to overcome as the Jaguars put together a game winning drive for a field goal. The Colts find themselves winless in the division.
Meanwhile, the Titans enjoyed a bye coming off a road win against the Miami Dolphins. It was a battle of the backups as Will Levis went out early after falling on his shoulder. Levis didn’t look great, and Mason Rudolph filled in well. While neither quarterback lit things up, there appears to be a slight quarterback controversy brewing. It is unknown who will be the starter in week six.
A division win will be extremely important to both clubs this week. Heck, forget about the division. Just getting a win will be crucial. It could be the difference between season saving for whichever club is able to secure it and essentially season ending for who falls short. Expect a close and hard fought battle in this one.
